A note about psychological support
Every family responds to a cancer diagnosis differently. Psychological and psychosocial support can include professional counselling, child-life services, peer support, family programmes, support for siblings, and help from social workers. If a child or family member is experiencing persistent distress, anxiety, or changes in mood, consider speaking with the child's healthcare team about appropriate professional support.
